Your entry into the Center begins in our reception and store area. In the store you will find the best selection of books on yoga, mediation and related subjects, Kundalini Yoga manuals, yoga “How To” videos and CDs, as well as the largest selection of yoga music tapes and CDs in New York City. Also available for purchase are yoga mats, mat bags, meditation sheepskins, malas and gemstones to aid in meditation and herbal teas.
The store is open each day before, after and during the times classes are in session.
For your convenience changing rooms and cubbies are provided and yoga mats and floor towels are available for rental.
After changing and removing your shoes you
proceed into our spacious, lushly carpeted yoga room. Your Kundalini Yoga experience is enhanced by the beauty of the room and the melodious music being played.
After each session you'll feel energized, uplifted and relaxed. Your experience will conclude as you make new friends and visit with old ones over a cup or two of Yogi Tea®, a delicious blend of spices created by Yogi Bhajan and brewed fresh daily to enhance the Kundalini experience by strengthening your immune system and nerves, aiding your digestion and gently cleansing your body.
